tohatsu year and model ??????????????

hi all ,can anybody out there help me identify the year and model of this outboard its a 6 hp 2 stroke and none of the numbers get me anywhere please help.

That must be an ancient, non-US M6. Long out of production. The "little sister" of the M8 and 9.8. There is a newer model, the M6B, which has a different fuel system (inline filter, etc.), on the Tohatsu Japan website at http://www.tohatsu.co.jp/en/boat/products/m6.html
