I bought a used mfs20c engine. When I check the compression I get 7 bar. Is this engine scrap?
I added oil to the cylinder for the same result

At RPMs under 1000, you are seeing the effect of the decompression system. You are well over 100 PSI, so you should be fine. Full info is in the Factory service manual.
