Hi,
I have a 50hp 2 stroke Tohatsu (about 10 year old I'm guessing) that I've taken off my boat (been re-powered) and I'm servicing it before selling.
Part of the service is checking the warning buzzer by grounding the oil level sensor and I notice when doing this the warning light comes on in the tacho but no buzzer is sounding. Engine has ignition on and in gear which is correct for the procedure.
Anyone know the location of the buzzer? I assumed it was in the engine but I can't find it. I guess it must be in the remote control box but don't want to disassemble unnecessarily......bad things happen when boxes come apart!
cheers
