Timing

2001 5.0 tbi what is the corect way too set timing I have axis to scan. tool lap top or timing light ? Motor was rebuilt so I am not sure where distrubutor was set too. I put a timing light on running the mark is tdc. Also what is plug wireing colors for scan tool plug in thanks for any helpx

Update still haven't found any tech methods on timing but as before timing light showed tdc guy is using boat he states runs just like before witch is good I guess still going to keep looking thanks for reading
