Timing notches

with the timing notches. what is the scale for each notch... I see vVvvvv where the big V is TDC I think. is it 1 or 2 degree from peek to peek? I'm looking for 10 dgree BTDC...

"scott also depending on the engine the timing marks may also be located on the tranny end of the engine under an oblong rubber plug and you can time the engine from there. My engines sit backwards so this makes it easy for me. If this is the case for you, when you remove the rubber plug on top of the flywheel/tranny housing the 10 deg marks are right there."

thanks guys. Tim in have 2 454 cid carb-ed (1991) sitting in a 3100 tiara. i have easy access to the timing mark on the side with the belts. i will look for the other just as interest.
