"Ok, Last night had a big rain storm and woke up this morning to prep the boat to go to the lake. I find my Tilt/Trim motor running to the down position for who knows how long and the battery on the boat is about dead when I get it disconnected. Now I learned something, dont leave the batteries connected, got it. But what the hell is going on? Why would the T/T just auto stick or short in the down position? It has 3 switches, one on the motor that has it's own connector and relay. The other 2 are remote switches on the boat. One on the shifter and one on the bow of the boat. 1996 Cajun bass boat w Evinrude intruder 150 FYI. When I disconnect the remote trim switch the down trim motor shuts off and the trim switch on the motor itself was able to relieve the pressure and make the motor go up and down as normal. Now when I plug the remote switch back into the harness the trim motor starts to try and go down again and you cant stop it unless u disconnect the plug again or remove the relay. I tried swapping relays already to see if it was a stuck relay no dice still same issue. JWB or Joe any thoughts on this one? Can I piggy back the remote trim feed wires right onto the same plug as the one on the motor trim switch if I needed to?"
