"Problem with tilt/trim hyd. cyl

I just repleaced the brushes and springs on one of the cyl.

What fluid and how do I fill it up. Lost some during removal.

Also, broke one of the three mounting screws that affix motor. Will I have leaking problems if I only use the two good ones?

The motor is a 1990 Johnson 60HP

The three (3) screws t

The three (3) screws that attach the electric motor to the manifold are essential. There must absolutley be three (3) or leaking will ocurr. This will allow water to enter the hydraulic system.
 
I have a 1971 85 HP electric s

I have a 1971 85 HP electric start evenrude. I need to replace the tilt/trim motor. I am having no luck finding one I do not have the part number someone painted over it. Can someone tell me where to at least find a part number maybe I can cross reference?

There were a few different electric motors for the early PTT units. We would need to know exactly which one you have (pictures). The part numbers are not on the unit itself, those are merely the casting numbers which really tell us nothing.
