Tilttrim blows fuse

I have an older merc 75 hp and

I have an older merc 75 hp and the tilt/trim is not in best shape. leaks a big of fluid in garage. add once in a while. I am having trouble now when I tilt all the way down. it blows fuse near bottom of stroke. I am thinking it may be air in the system or possibly from filling when motor was down. I just found bleeding instructions. any ideas?

"I dug into it this weekend. The wiring is fine. the motor draws a lot of amps when compressing the two secondary cylinders. I took it abart went through the cylinders. There was blockage in the main which I cleaned up. I did not take apart the motor/pump, it looked to complicated at the time. I reassembled everything and still have same problem. Does anyone have a feel for what it is like to rebuild the motor/pump? The repair manual I have does not go into this in detail. The shop I called said they don't mess with them they just replace. I would rather fix it myself.

Any help would be appreciated.
