Tilt-trim solenoid removal

Hi, I have a 1991 Bayliner with a 3.0 mercruiser alpha 1 I/O.
Tilt & trim UP is not working; pretty sure it is the up solenoid that is the problem. The down solenoid is easy to get at but the up is located by the trim/tilt pump and all the bolts are not accessible.

Do I have to take he whole pump assembly out or is there an easier way ?? If I do have to take the whole pump off how is that done and do I then have to bleed the lines after ?? And how do I do that ? Thanks for any help.
 
Thanks Bt for the link....has good pics ; but still doesn't tell me if I can take off the up solenoid without taking the pump off.
 
The ones I have had to replace I removed the wiring and the 2 hoses and remove the pump as a unit. remove the motor wires from the solenoids and remove the motor. now you have access to the mounting bolts . remove all the wires , clean the connections, and reinstall everything.
