tilt&trim johnson 90hp

I have a Johnson outboard motor 90 HP, year 89 Model # J90TLAEM. How do i join the power Tilt and Trim sending unit (part # 583358).It has 3 wires a white black and green, do i need some kind of relay because the part was bought on ebay and the wires were cut.Also, what kind of oil should be used for the tilt and trim?.If there is a wiring diagram showing how to connect the wires that would help as well. Tilt and trim oil is all I would put in it..........There should have been a box that came with everything and it has a diagram on the inside of the cover....
