i just purchased my boat last fall. I stored it with the engine in the down position. I tried to tilt it up but it would not go. The trim motor was sounding like it should, but no movement. I tried cleaning the relay contacts, no difference. I released the pressure and tried to lift the motor manually, no luck the first time. The second time I tried, I heard a snap and the motor went up easily but all the oil flowed quickly out from the bottom of the unit. I couldn't see where the oil came from so I added more fluid and worked the tilt trim. White frothy oil came from the bottom this time.
What do I do now? What a pain.
