" I have a 1998 Tohatsu 25. It has suddenly developed a problem with the tilt lock/release. When I push the lever all the way down to release it (according to the directions in the manual), the motor will not budge. I have got to hold the lever midway to lift the motor--not easy from inside the boat.
Has anyone any experience with a similar problem? And if so, how did you solve it?
