tilt and trim

hi hope someone can help have a mercurry 50 hp the old trim and tilt motor was three wire 1 but new motor is 2 it uses the solonoid type and not relays can some one help please

2w motors will not work with solenoids. solenoids are for 3w motors with a common ground. 2w motors do not have a ground. they are a floating voltage that works off polarity. you have to replace the small solenoid harness with a small relay harness.
