"Hi Everyone,

My name is Frank and I want to convert my 25 HP short shaft electric start engine from tiller to remote control. It is a 96 model J25steeda. My little side console is only a few feet in front of the engine, so I plan to just turn around to start it. I am too old and have had too much shoulder and back trouble to use the tiller to steer so I want a throttle and shift as well as steering on the console. Is there a kit sold for the throttle and shift control that will mate with my engine? I already have the control box. I know I will need cables as the old ones were cut when my original engine was stolen. The brand is Teleflex on the control box and I suppose the old cables were as well.
