Hello, I am new to this group. I bought a 1998 Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke and got a very good price. It runs great..... but I now know why I got such a good deal. The shift handle is locked up and the cables are in very bad shape. I'm pretty good with wrenches and have found the issue. My question is, does anyone know if you can replace the tiller handle? I'm going to call the local dealer tomorrow,but thought I would give this a try. I bought a Seloc manual and it is the worst manual I have ever seen. Any suggestions on a good repair manual would be appreciated. Thanks for your time and suggestions.
