To make a long story short fishing line ate my prop seals up on my 1990 model evinrude 40hp i have a service manual i did everything to the T! the thrust washer was on the prop shaft pretty tight i had to use a puller to get it off the shaft. when installing it will not seat like it was even when i put the prop on and torque it down. it still has a quarter inch in and out play and it was never like that. should i just get a new thrust washer or what?? its driving me crazy. thanks for your time
