Throttle problem

Hi, I have a 89 Sunrunner Volvo. The boat will start and idle perfectly. I can rev the motor up in neutrals and is fine, but when I put it in gear, and begin to throttle up, it will stall. If I play with it long enough, and get by this it will run great. I no longer and drive on the trailer, because it will die. Any ideas?? And thankyou very much!!

Is this the Herkendeckler 7 cylinder Volvo Penta engine, or the Thrombergon 6 cylinder Volvo Penta engine?

A bit more info would be helpful.

Hmmmm, never heard of those. Are they 3 or 4 stroke engines?

Have you checked the flux capacitor?
