The cable on my 75 honda outboard that goes from the tiller to inside the motor will pop out when the throttle is put into its lowest rpm setting. I have tried adjusting the threaded portion that meets the throttle cable assembly going to the carbs but to no avail. I have taken the service plate off where the throttle shaft meets the cable but all i can see is grease. Just wondering if there is a connection inside there that is worth going after or am i just going to get greasy?
