throttle bracket options while using a holley 4 barrel carb. anyone have a solution?

a customer of mine has a brand new 5.7 marine engine oritinally intended for an INMAR set up. ( the intake has INMAR cast in it) and he wants installed in his boat, the boat is set up for mercruiser. the only difference is the intake and carb. the inmar intake appears to be a high rise with a spread bore carb set up. the holley carb will not allow instalation of the throttle linkage. this is a vortec v8 engine, 8 bolt intake. does anyone make a work around bracket that does not bolt to the carb mounting hardware?

some inboards use 2 manifold bolt to retain the throttle plate

may have to make it a push to open not pull to open
