"Wondering if my timing advance is synchronized correctly with my throttle. It seems like my throttle plates are open more than half way before the ignition advance starts to move. When I advance the throttle under power it doesn't respond smoothly, it seems a little flat to a point then revs up quickly, not linear. I brought it to my local Merc service guy and he said it seems normal. My Johnson 50 (different boat) the throttle and ignition advance seem to move together shortly after idle. Any opinions??"
