" Joe, Because of the high compression test I think I will run extra oil mixed in the tank for awhile. Probably good insurance.

Another question. I am rigging the motor now. I have pretty well connected every thing on the motor end.

I picked up a Clymer Manual at the library. But it does not help me with all of the wires on the control end. What I really need is something like an installation manual for the controls, key switch, trim control, gauges, etc.

Any ideas where to get one of those.

I rechecked that model number and it is J115TL'A'TS - not 'E' ???

Why do you need to add extra

Why do you need to add extra oil to the engine. Wouldn't more oil foul the plugs?

The motor had a power head rebuild in 1999. I do not know the hours on the engine since the rebuild. If the hours are low it will still need some 'break-in' treatment. "
