ok i would like to know where exaclty is the thermostat and how do u replace it all the boat shops are backed up 3-5 weeks so i kinda need to fix it myself if anyone can help plz repost any info thanks alot

ishopmarine.com has part break downs on their web site. They have an Evinrude/Johnson section. According to their picture it looks like the thermostats are in the engine heads. The picture is in the Johnson 1989 150hp section under cylinder & Crankcase.
