"most marine engines have a tell-tale, it squirts water out the side or back of the motor. Its only purpose is to tell the owner the waterpump is working. It should look like a boy peeing off the side of the boat. The majority of the cooling water goes out the center of the prop while running. Any leak on the engine needs to be fixed."
