"Is it possible that an engine can run without a thermostat? On the past inboards I've pulled the thermostat out for winterization to ensure no water is on top. However on my new 2007 Larson, I didn't find a thermostat in the housing, but more confussing is that I didn't even find the groove for the gasket. I didn't think an engine could run well without one??? Am I missing something? Thanks."
