The throttle handle is froze

The throttle linkage is frozen. How do you get the throttle handle unstuck?

Has it been in storage awhile? Take it apart and clean the corrosion out, re-lubricate & reassemble. Or did it suddenly lock up during regular use? Make sure the shifter/throttle interlock isn't jammed somewhere.
