" Joe I am the one with the 130HP Johnson that wouldn't idle after being laid up for two years after hurricane Georges. After following your advice and cleaning the carbs a second time all is well. The engine now runs better than when brand new. Remember I bought it only two weeks before the storm. It is now broken in and hits 5500 rpm very quickly with the standard factory prop. I am going to order a second prop for a spare and may go to a higher(by 2 inches) pitch as I am sure I am under pitched. I never run more than 4,000 rpm except to test it last week. It would have exceeded 5500 easily. No one else that I know of has a prop like that here on the island, but if I get it and it lugs below 5,000 I will trade it. Thanks again for your help and encouragement.
