Temp gauges Flucuates

Gentlemen, I need your expertise. I have twin 318's, Trojan 32. Put new t-stats in like every year. But this year the gauges are flucuating. They go up to 140, then drop to 110-120. Flybridge gauges do the same. I put the infrared gun on each engine. Nothing wrong with the temps.

Any suggestions?

Bad connection on the temp sensor and/ or bad ground(s) somewhere, I suspect.
