"Water rarely comes out of the

"Water rarely comes out of the tell tale at idle. If it does, it takes a long time to show up and spurts. Steady stream comes out when power is applied. There are no cooling problems - temp gauge is normal. Should I be worried. Previous owner states impeller was changed last year.
Also, boat seems to run rough at idle until I make a few runs around the lake, then it seems to smooth out. Should I run a fuel treatment in the tank? If so, which would you suggest. Thanks in advance for replies."

"a fuel treatment through the tank cant hurt, you may have a bit of a varnish on the carbs or the like, some sea foam through the system will help.

the tell tale sounds reasonably normal some sytems dont suirt a lot until above idle.

if it is working well when going along and the temp guage is reading fine i wouldnt worry to much about it until those things change their behaviour."
