I have a 1992 40 hp Mercury 4

I have a 1992 40 hp Mercury 4 cylinder... the motor makes a knocking noise once in awhile and I've had the boat in twice they said they need to tear it down to find the problem. Is there a web site that has the information to walk me through a tear down....
