TC-135A idle adjustment

Wish I could attach the picture of the carb
There is a gold spring loaded screw on top left side. I believe it’s the idle. I tried adjusting idle using it but nope. So I used the throttle adjust arm. Is this the correct way to adjust this carb? It worked but just need to know if this is the correct way to adjust it. Plus, what’s the screw for? It did nothing that I could see

That gold/brass screw is NOT for the idle.
Get a manual or look up how to adjust a carb.
That screw is for the air/fuel mix at idle. Can make it smooth out and in some cases even speed up.
But NOT to set the idle.
It should be set at 1 and 1/2 turn out and adjusted from there.

If the motors not running right?? Then do some troubleshooting and find out why??
