Tank mixing water ?

Is there a possibly that pick up tube in tank is up 1 1/2 " from bottom of tank and every fuel sample. Has no water ?

We have incomplete information, are you talking about a built in tank or a portable, are you seeing a reason to think there's water and why do you wonder if the pickup tube might be high?

Fact is ----There is more water in the air where a boat is floating than the air a mile inland.------So a prudent boat owner installs a water separating filter.
