"I have a 2008 MFS9.8A3S,4 stroke.Will an automotive tachometer work with this engine?If not what do I need?The engine only tilts up in
forward gear.Is this right?I thought it would tilt in neutral also.Am I reading the owners
manual wrong.I thought shifting the gears with
the motor not running was a bad practice.

manual to do most of the normal maintanance.The
dealer near me is not a nice person to do
business with.Are the carbs on these motors easy
to work on?I have rebuilt many automobile carbs.
Are the ones on the outboards about the same?
