tachometer not hooked to motor

i just had a 2012 75hp mercury engine installed on my boat ,the co did not reinstall the tach ,what parts would i need to reinstll it my self,as the boat co is 110miles round trip from my house, the tach is installed in my dashboard but, not wired to my engine
 
See if there is a gray wire attached to the voltage regulator. Call them and ask them why...they may send someone to your house if you ask and they are a reputable dealer.
 
the tach may need a different setting depending on what engine you replaced...if its and old tach you will be lucky if the setting can be changed and it still works...take it back to the dealer would be the option i would take...he charged you and install fee didnt he?
