"I recently purchased a 52' houseboat with detmar tachs on both upper and lower stations. One of the tachs on the upper station doesn't read correctly. Unlike the other tach that goes to 0 when shut down, the faulty tach "drops" backwards to the 6000 rpm area of the tach. Is there a calibration to set the tach to the correct -0-. I suspect that this would also help in getting a correct reading from this starboard tach. It appears that detmar no longer manufactures gauges. I can not find any online. Also, the lower station synchronizer gauge is a Medallion. The synch works fine on the upper station but the Medallion on the lower helm does not work at present. Any ideas - suggestions."
