Tach & Trim gauge for 2004 BF25D

Hey folks, just picked up a 2004 25hp and want to add the tach and trim meter. Looking for the proper part numbers for the harness and gauges. Can someone confirm these are correct?

Harness: 32540 ZV5 911
Tach: 06375-ZW5-U11
Trim meter: 06372-ZW5-U01

The trim number is for a white gauge, but I'd prefer black. And are there any alternative numbers that would work so I can search for some used parts online? Thanks in advance.

Those numbers did not look familiar to me (in the USA), so I Googled the tach and found this list and descriptions of Honda Gauges.

This is a list in Hungary

In the USA....here is the list of part numbers and descriptions. http://marine.honda.com/parts/accessories/categories/gauge-sets

There are also Faria and Veethree (formerly Teleflex) gauges without the Honda logo. Either brands' outboard tachometer should work, however, you have to be sure that the trim gauge is compatible with Honda. I do not know any of these part numbers, but I am sure you can find them on their websites.

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much, Mike, that helps a lot. Of course that's the first site I went to before getting distracted by Hungary and such, lol.
The Faria equipment seems doable; not sure what nmea 2000 is or if I can use it.

In regards to the faria, which harness(es) do I need? Do they use a different harness than the OEM, or a different harness WITH the OEM? I see the main faria harness for the 5 gauge set (32103-ZW7-000AH). Does this connect to OEM harness "A" (32540-ZV5-911)? Or does it connect straight to the wires coming from the throttle? Does it replace both OEM harness A & B since it connects the speed and volt? And if I went with individual Honda gauges, I would need just harness A for the tach and trim, correct?

Looks like the faria tach n trim kit with harness is the easiest solution for me (06300-ZW5-000KT), but I'm starting to want all the gauges.

Thanks again for your help. Very grateful.

You are correct in your last statement. The tach/trim gauge combo with harness is easiest and will give you all you need to directly connect to keyswitch.

The wiring harness includes connections for any additional gauges that you may want to add in the future.

If you get a complete set of gauges, the listed harness (same as the one in the kit) will accommodate all of the gauges.

If you go with the "Hungary" gauges and use Harness A, you will probably have to change the ends on the harness (from bullet to loop) to connect to the tachometer. The trim gauge will probably come with a small adapter harness that will plug right in.

NMEA 2000 gauges do not apply to your motor....they are networked gauges. Your motor does not have that capability.
