I have a 1964 40 HP Lark VI with generator and selectric shift. There was an original Sun tach in the dash. Instead of paying a gauge restorer over $200 to get it working again, I purchased a Sun Pro FZ88R for close to $100 ready to go.
The old wiring under the dash was a rats nest...so very hard to trace what was there but irrelevant. The new unit has 4 terminals;
ground
signal
+12v switched
light wire (led)
I have the old wiring diagram attached. The ground wire is shown in the cable bundle from the junction box to the dash, gray 20 awg.
Does anyone know where I need to hook up the signal terminal to ?
Thank you
