Syncro 3hp JW-18

I nearly polished the cam looking for the mark. There is no mark to line up the follower. The generic manual I have says to line up the follower with the line for this model. I ended up starting the carb to move just as the follower touched the cam. Runs good in the can, I'll try it on the lake tomorrow. Does anyone know anything different? '63 Johnson 3hp.

Many of those 3hp models run fine when set just as you describe.

Definitely runs better. Ran it out of gas... lost interest... fished instead. Thanks Joe.
