SX Outdrive upper gearcase

Recently the boot that covers the geardrive that goes into my upper gearcase came loose at the lake, I have noticed some grease in the boot with a grease fitting outside the drive as well as a grease fitting inside on the joint. How much grease do I need to put back into this boot while reattaching it? Any help would be appreciated
