"On plane and lost power. Boat

"On plane and lost power. Boat able to idle but have no tac, fuel gauge, or oil level indicator. Motor boggs down when i try to go past an idle.
I get home and flush salt water out of motor. When I turn it on i have all instrumentation back. Have not put it back in water to see about full throttle. Could this be a power pack or voltage regulator? Motor has run very strong until now. Now probs.

Did that yesterday. Could not

Did that yesterday. Could not find the tac cable. Just took the ground off while the motor was running. Prob. should have taken the hot off aslo. Gave the motor throttle and it seemed to be running aight. Fingures crossed. Thanks for the advise. Going to put it in the river and run the dog mess out of it.
