suzuki tach oil light on

I have a suzuki 115 4stroke. starts and runs good. the oil light on the tach stays on. I removed the oil pressure sender and hooked up an oil pressure gauge. I get almost 80 psi oil pressure @ an idol. Is the tach bad ??

Check for pinched or grounded wire.
