"my suzuki is sick please help! Dying under load , no top end it seems, cleaned the carbs , replaced plugs, decent spark and compression. Hard starting idles ok but very sluggish??"
 
my 40hp is similar. It runs pe

my 40hp is similar. It runs perfectly out of the water (using tank) but missfires under load when pushing the boat. Have been told that it is probably CDI (black box) unit which starts to missfire under load. So expensive to replace I'm trying to find other causes first. Maybe I'll try to repair CDI unit.
