I have a 2005 df70 and i believe it has jumped timing. any idea where the timing marks are on this motor? also what potential damage has been done. there are metal shavings on the motors exterior that i believe came from the tensioner pulley (belt is a little loose) not sure what to check first.

"Thanks, I pulled the flywheel off and found that the key on the timing pulley was broken and the inside of the pulley had a chunk missing the same size as the woodruff key right beside the key groove. looks like it was machined this way,im guessing it was a defective pulley, I dont think the key would cut into the pulley. If the pulley is supposed to be that way please advise. this is obviously where the metal shavings are coming from as well. I will order a new pulley and key, set the timing (found marks) and go from there. I think it will be ok"
