Recently acquired a Suzuki DF6A, 4 stroke outboard.
The engine won’t idle, and requires increased revs when placing in gear to prevent stalling, and every time I decelerate when approaching dock the engine stalls.
Only way I can keep it running is turn the idle screw in so the engine is constantly over reving.
I have cleaned fuel tank/lines, replaced inline filter/spark plug and given the carby a birthday but nothing appears to improve the situation.
Any ideas welcome?
Is there an idle jet in carby that I’ve missed? I could only find one jet screw in the middle of the fuel bowl float.
Thanks in advance
