Suzuki DF6A 2018 not idling

Recently acquired a Suzuki DF6A, 4 stroke outboard.
The engine won’t idle, and requires increased revs when placing in gear to prevent stalling, and every time I decelerate when approaching dock the engine stalls.
Only way I can keep it running is turn the idle screw in so the engine is constantly over reving.
I have cleaned fuel tank/lines, replaced inline filter/spark plug and given the carby a birthday but nothing appears to improve the situation.
Any ideas welcome?
Is there an idle jet in carby that I’ve missed? I could only find one jet screw in the middle of the fuel bowl float.
Thanks in advance

When it starts to die can you keep it running by squeezing the fuel primer bulb? Not sure what “given the carby a birthday“ means, a cleaning?

I’m not familiar with your engine, I believe the gas tank is located on the top of the engine? If so, can you hook an external tank to the engine? By hooking an external tank up you could verify if your issue is a fuel delivery from the fuel tank to the carb.

With your year check boats.net, they have good parts diagrams to see if you missed anything in cleaning the carburetor.
