Suzuki DF30A unresponsive to warm up lever and remote control lever. Brand New

Hello, I've just mounted a new DF30A on an old Whaler. She started immediately but is unresponsive to the throttle and shifting. The Harness has several connectors that would go to, I assume, a tach and other gauges, lights etc. I'm just going with the outboard and remote. Any ideas?

At one time Suzuki had setup manuals for their outboards, not sure if they still produce/provide them. The link below is not for your engine but you get the idea. Perhaps the dealer where you purchased the engine can help.

By not installing a Suzuki tach you won’t receive any engine codes should the outboard decide to act up.
