Hi. I’m seeking help with diagnosing my outboard engine. The engine lacks power and responds poorly to the throttle (but no stalling). It runs well and quietly in neutral. The service center initially told me it was the propeller, then the carburetor. Both were replaced, but it didn’t help. Additionally, I’ve replaced the fuel lines, primer bulb, and spark plugs. I performed a compression test; both cylinders have 140 psi. I’ve adjusted the valves and swapped the ignition coils. No luck…
The previous engine block cracked and was replaced. Since then, the engine hasn’t regained its power. I can only reach a maximum of 10 knots instead of 20+. Where should I look for the problem ?
