"Suzuki DF140, EFI,4-stroke. Was running fine till ran out of gas. After adding gas to tank, fuel line would not pump back up. There is an in-line 10-micron filter near the engine with the clear site bowl. Bulb was good, line was unobstructed and not kinked, hose is on barb, not quick disconnect. Pull line from bulb on output side and bulb will pump fine into a container so tank pickup is ok. Drain filter bowl and bulb will pump gas in slowly to a point then stop. Will this engine not allow vapors to pass thus causing a vapor-lock type situation? Is it necessary to disconnect the fuel line near the engine and pump up line till fuel flows to eliminate air in line?
