Hello all
Currently I’m dealing with an issue that just recently popped up on our andros equipped with a 2007 df140. When I turn the key I get my normal buzzer tone, tach jumps to show the hours on motor, fuel pump prims, etc but the starter doesn’t even try to turn over. This boat has a folding tower on it which utilizes a zf marine micro commander to take the electronic signal from the throttle in the tower, to a box which controls the mechanical shift and throttle cables which run from the center console to the motor itself. This also includes the neutral safety which would normally be a small continuity switch on the back side of the throttle. So far I’ve tried rerunning the main hot and ground wires from the motor to the batteries, checked continuity from the neutral safety at the helm and shift position sensor to the starting circuit, swapping the relays for the starter and checking all of the fuses but no matter what I do I cannot get the ecu to energize the small red wire which runs to the back of the starter solenoid.
Are there any other possibly issues that could cause a no start condition like this besides the key switch itself?
