I burned up 3 fuel pumps in the FVS on my 140, I put them in they ran in the driveway, put it in the water, tries to get on the wave, then kills, it restarts I put it back on the trailed, put in the garage went back 3/4 days later they were burned up. All 3 pumps did the same thing, it was different brand pumps.

Any drivability issues before the fuel pumps crap out on you? To burn 3 pumps up plus the OEM original pump is weird. I have no ideas only some guesses. The float is set wrong and your running the pump dry. Debris in the fuel tank that’s plugging the high pressure filter and starving the pump. Insufficient fuel supply coming from the low pressure fuel pump.(I think Racerone is calling it a lift pump) You’re unlucky and have gotten a bad batch of aftermarket fuel pumps, I would suggest trying an OEM pump but at $400 a pop it would be nice to know what’s causing the pumps to fail.(If it’s not crappy pumps) If you can’t figure it out with help on this forum try posting on The Hull Truth, theres more Suzuki owner on that forum. Take the engine to a Suzuki dealer, it will be costly but you’ve likely spent that much on replacement pumps.
