New on the forum, I live in France and have a small sailboat with a Mercury 4HP 2 stroke and a tender with a Suzuki 2.2HP 2 stroke.
I am wondering if/how the cooling works on the 2.2HP. I see no water coming out and I don't see where it should be coming out! I have looked at videos of the same engine on youtube, and I can't see it there either. There are two small holes halfway down the shaft, but there is nothing coming out of there.
There is also oil leaking from the bottom. Just above the metal clip on the right there are two holes, that is where it seems to be coming out. At first I thought my mixture may be too rich (50:1) for this engine, but I think the exhaust is on the left on this picture?
