"I am thinking about trading my beautiful 1962 5.5 Johnson (been stored - used very little -probably less that 40 hours on it-I have retired and am getting back into fishing!!!)for a lighter motor.
A guy has offered to trade even up for his 1982 Suzuki DT 2. His motor runs "OK", probably his Suzuki has more hours on it than my Johnson and it looks a little rougher (like it has been handled more-probably used as a dingy pusher).
I am inexperienced with outborads -DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A GOOD DEAL ON THE SURFACE AND WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR WHEN I GET A CHANCE TO EXAMINE THE SUZUKI??
